Background and Achievements:

While in law school, Stephanie was a member of Wayne State's Moot Court from 2006 to 2008. Her team was one of two teams to qualify for the 2007 Law Day Competition. Stephanie and her partner had the honor of arguing before Michigan Supreme Court Justice Maura Corrigan, Justice Marilyn Kelly, and Judge Gerald Rosen of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. She was awarded second place winner for her individual appellate brief and as the first place team appellate brief winner. Stephanie also served as President of the Jewish Law Student Association, coordinating academic, social, and community service events for Jewish law students and the greater student body.

Stephanie worked as a law clerk for the Detroit Medical Center's in-house counsel, Harrington Law Offices, PLC, and Sullivan, Ward, Asher & Patton, PC. She is active in her community, serving on the Board of Hillel of Metro Detroit for which she received the 2008 David Bittker Leadership Award.
